Windows 10 users can now download Amazon Prime Video content to their computer.

In line with the Amazon Prime Video app available on other devices, content can now be downloaded in either ‘Good’, ’Better’ or ‘Best’ quality. This allows those with limited storage and bandwidth to get the most out of the service. As a rough guide, one hour of the ‘Best’ quality will take up around 2.4GB of storage.

The Amazon Prime Video app will also provide access to digital copies of movies and television shows purchased through Amazon. Again, these can be streamed or downloaded for offline viewing.

In addition to the download function, the app provides users with a dedicated platform to rent and but TV shows and movies, and access to Prime Video Channels, including STARPLAYZ, hayu, MUBI, Funimation, and Arrow Horror.
