In 2018, the HUAWEI MateBook X Pro launched. With excellent connectivity, sleek design, and striking FullView display, it certainly made an impression. Now, Huawei has updated the laptop, keeping the company at the bleeding edge of PC technology with the all-new HUAWEI MateBook X Pro 2020, available in a refined Emerald Green.

HUAWEI’s President of PC and Tablet Product Line, Wang Yinfeng, had this to say in a recent press release:

“As an ultra-slim flagship notebook, the all-new HUAWEI MateBook X Pro epitomises Huawei’s signature design and craftsmanship. Meanwhile, the breakthroughs in the touch-enabled Ultra FullView display, power consumption, performance, and all-scenario connectivity empower consumers to stay productive anytime, anywhere.”

Wang went onto state that the laptop is HUAWEI’s “most powerful, portable, and intelligent all-purpose device yet, and we’re excited to bring that to the hands of consumers.”

“Portable” is certainly a good term for the MateBook X Pro, as it weighs only 1.3kg, and measures only 14.6mm thick.

The upgraded 13.9-inch Ultra FullView display is an exciting prospect too, basting a unique and compelling 3:2 aspect ratio, 3K resolution, and 100% sRGB colour gamut – these are sure to be sweet notes in the ear of any creative professional. What’s more is the display doubles as a touch-screen, supporting 10-points of contact and several intuitive gesture controls.

In terms of power, under the MateBook X Pro’s thin bezel fame hides some serious number-crunching grunt. The 10th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-10510U boasts an 8MB cache, and clocks up to 4.90 GHz, with 16GB of DDR5 RAM at its disposal. Meanwhile, the Nvidia graphics card is more than capable of keeping the 3000 x 2000 resolution running smooth and pure. Film editing and image creation are not going to be a problem with this laptop.

Anyone looking to pick up the HUAWEI MateBook X Pro 2020 will be treated to a pair of the HUAWEI FreeBuds 3 and HUAWEI Watch GT2e at no additional cost.

The new Huawei MateBook X Pro 2020 laptop in Emerald Green launches in the UK on July 28. Huawei MateBook X Pro 2020 in Emerald Green (Intel 10th GEN i7) has an RRP of £1,699.99 is available to pre-order now from the Huawei Store.
