Ghost Of Tsushima takes top spot in this week’s UK gaming chart

While Paper Mario celebrates the series' most successful launch

Ghost Of Tsushima has topped the UK gaming chart for physical sales. The open-world stealth-action game, which is already considered by many to be one of the PS4’s best and most visually beautiful games, sees players take on the role of Jin, a warrior samurai in feudal Japan.

Paper Mario: The Origami King has taken the second spot, with the highest opening-week sales the Super Mario spin-off series has ever seen. Last week’s number one, F1 2020, is in third after having the best opening-week sales since the 2017 instalment. Animal Crossing: New Horizons is forth, beating out The Last Of Us Part 2, which sits at number five.

As Games Industry highlight, this week’s charts are unusual, as all top five titles were released in 2020.
