Far Cry 6 is a game that everyone expected to see in the Ubisoft Forward E3 2021 presentation. And, after a pretty leaky couple of days, everyone was also ready to see some Far Cry 6 DLC.
Well, it’s all confirmed. With a season pass for Far Cry 6, players will get access to DLC featuring three iconic villains: Vaas from Far Cry 3, Pagan from Far Cry 4 and Joseph from Far Cry 5. It was also announced that Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, the neon-soaked tongue-in-cheek oddity, will be included in the season pass offering.
Far Cry 6 is available on October 7, 2021. Pre-order now. Pre-order Far Cry 6 Gold Edition to secure the main title and the season pass on day one.
After watching the trailer, we aren’t any closer to understanding the narrative that will go with the content. What does seem to be the case is that the three characters appear after the events of their respective instalments. It seems that this particular strand of the season pass will lean into the more psychedelic regions of the Far Cry brand.

Speaking at Ubisoft Forward, Game Content Director Omar Bouali discussed the legacy of the Far Cry villain roster. Bouali noted that the most compelling aspects of Vaas, Pagan, Joseph and the upcoming Anton Castillo, is that they “could sit across from you at the dinner table and charm you into thinking that everything they believe, no matter how twisted or horrifying, could be absolutely true.”
With such a strong history of interesting bad guys, its no wonder that fans are already excited about the prospect of them returning to the franchise:
What appeared to be a cutscene from Far Cry 6 was also shown at Ubisoft Forward. It further solidifies what most are thinking - Anton is going to be ruthless. You can watch this below:
