The Early Black Friday Deals event comprises of long-term discounts, which will run for several days or even weeks, and other short-term and timed deals. If you see something you like, it’s best to act with haste, as there’s no guarantee that the item will still be around at a later date.
Likewise, this means that there will be new deals popping in every day, sometimes by the hour, so if there’s nothing on your first pass through, it’s worth combing through again at a later point.
When does Black Friday start?
Black Friday used to be one say in the USA. Now, here in the UK, it can be weeks long in the run up to November 27, and running over to Cyber Monday.
This year and true to form, Amazon has kicked off proceedings with the Early Black Friday Sale. This ends on November 19, with the November 20 taking over with Black Friday Week, which runs for tend days, ending on November 30 (aka. Cyber Monday).

The event comes hot on the heels of the hugely popular two-day Prime Day event, which also played host to significant deals across Amazon’s catalogue. The Early Black Friday Deals is a much longer sale, and also has much broader appeal.
Whereas Prime Day is an exclusive event for Amazon Prime members, the Early Black Friday Sale, and the Black Friday and Cyber Monday events that’ll quickly follow, are available to everyone with an internet connection.
The events tagline - “Shop early. Relax later.” - suggests that the discounts are to reduce the pressure on shoppers to hit the online stores across the Black Friday event. It’s also reasonable to think that this will help Amazon’s warehouses and delivery drivers by spreading, and therefore lessening, the logistical weight of the big sales event that is Black Friday.
