Best keyboard for Android
A truly brilliant mechanical keyboard, and an especially excellent keyboard for Android users, the RK ROYAL KLUDGE M75 mechanical keyboard is a one-of-a-kind peripheral that's perfect for your typing needs.
Designed beautifully with clean and light colours and equipped with a particularly adorable volume knob and LCD screen, the M75 pops visually. As for typing, you won't be disappointed with just how precise the M75 truly is. RK ROYAL KLUDGE's silent red switches give the M75 a wonderfully precise hand-feel that's both ergonomic and satisfying to use.
For some, however, the M75's lack of a numeric keypad might be a dealbreaker - it's less convenient to use compared to its full-size competition in that respect, and yet its wireless design, ultra-portable build and weight more than compensate for an otherwise minor convenience.
A great mechanical keyboard, and an even better keyboard for Android users, this is one keyboard that you won't regret purchasing.

Best budget keyboard for Android
A quality keyboard that's a fraction of the price of its competitors, the Arteck ultra-slim keyboard is impressive in most aspects; its formal, yet sophisticated design, phenomenal four-month battery, and its crisp scissor-switch design that give typing a luxurious feel.
The Arteck keyboard has a tiny 2.6 cm width, making it perfectly ideal for carrying alongside your phone or tablet when in a hurry, but with a scissor-switch design, the Arteck ultra-slim keyboard isn't robbed of a punchy keystroke feel. Admittedly, the Arteck keyboard doesn't have the absolute precision of a mechanical keyboard, which is to be expected at its particularly low price point, that being said - for general use, its excellent.
Easily one of our favourite cheap keyboards, the Arteck ultra-slim keyboard is truly worth its price, and then some.

Best keyboard for Android under £30
A stainless steel design meets an ultra-low profile chiclet keyboard design: iclever's wireless keyboard bursts with quality, making it the perfect typing companion for your PC, laptop and of course, Android device. Simply connect to your chosen device via Bluetooth and begin typing in moments.
Not as small as other TKL keyboards on the market, but equally ultra-slim, the iclever wireless keyboard is a full-sized keyboard that's perfect for programmers, gamers and everything in between. Thanks to being completely wireless, you can connect to a huge range of devices in a flash, giving you complete control at a moment's notice.
When it comes to typing, the iclever wireless keyboard has a wonderfully premium feel that's subtle and low-profile, but doesn't have the satisfying chunky feel of a mechanical keyboard. What's more, scissor switches don't quite have the accuracy nor the lifespan of mechanical switches, so if longevity is your primary concern, consider yourself warned.
That being said, iclever's wireless keyboard is a vastly superior budget keyboard to most on the market, making it a great option for those with a little less cash to splash.
Pros
- Excellent budget keyboard
- Superior stainless steel build quality
- Great type feel
Cons
- Switches don't have the longevity of mechanical keyboards
Dimensions: | 36.6L x 12.6W x 1.1 cm |
Keyboard type: | Chiclet |
Switches: | Scissor switches |

Best TKL keyboard for Android
Tough, sturdy and satisfying, the Logitech K380 is a keyboard made for those with comfort in mind, who want it at a reasonable price. A low-profile keyboard, yet a membrane keyboard also, the Logitech K380 is likely to outlast any peripheral in your desk space, despite being relatively affordable.
What's more, the overall feel of the K380 is particularly nice for a membrane keyboard, whilst also having an unmistakably rubbery feel to it that's not the same as a true mechanical keyboard. As such, the K380's accuracy isn't top-tier, but is certainly respectable.
As a TKL keyboard, there's an unquestionable amount of versatility with using the K380, connecting to a tablet doesn't require you to be sat at a desk next to an oversized rig. Sit wherever you like, connect to Bluetooth and start typing away, that's the beauty of such a great TKL keyboard.
All-in-all, Logitech's K380 is a worthwhile addition to our roundup of best keyboards for Android and a great investment into what is well-made technology.
Pros
- Solid build quality
- Good value
- Nicely designed
Cons
- Standard membrane keyboard feel
Dimensions: | 12.4 x 27.9 x 1.6 cm |

Best versatile keyboard for Android
A high-end feel for a low-end price, Logitech's MX minimalist keyboard has boundless quality, with an especially clean layout that's perfect for on-the-go typing with your Android tablet.
Crisp and responsive, despite its ultra-low profile, the Logitech MX is equipped with premium scissor-switch technology, giving typing a punch and responsiveness unparalleled in keyboards at its price.
Whilst not being a great keyboard for programmers or others in need of heaps of programmable keys, the Logitech MX gives casual users, book-bound students and gamers a comfortable, light and ergonomic design to enjoy for years to come.
Pros
- Comfortable design
- Durable and affordable
- Ideal for portability
Cons
- Smaller design isn't appropriate for all users
Dimensions: | 29.6L x 13.2W x 2.1 cm |
Keyboard type: | Chiclet |
Switches: | Scissor switches |
Connectivity: | Bluetooth |
Battery life: | Up to ten days |
Device support: | Windows/Mac/iOS/Android |
- Customer review: "Good keyboard for office use and designed well for smooth typing."
Best 60 per cent keyboard for Android
An utterly exceptional keyboard from Corsair, the K70 PRO mini wireless is a sensational 60 per cent keyboard that offers more than enough comfort, durability and responsiveness for a lifetime of gaming, studying, and relaxing.
The K70 PRO is a mechanical keyboard largely designed for gaming. As such, its Cherry MX red switches are silent, linear and responsive, giving you rapid actuation even in the most intense of Android gaming moments.
With a full range of RGB lights, which might not be for everyone but remain impressive, the K70 PRO's versatility thanks to its small size and high connectivity make it an essential keyboard for Android users. If you'd like something on the larger side, however, the K70 PRO might disappoint.
This smallish keyboard isn't ideal if you're crunching numbers due to the lack of a numeric keypad, but needless to say, what it lacks in size is made up for in performance.
Pros
- Excellent design
- Gorgeous mechanical switches
- Great durability
Cons
- RGB lighting isn't for everyone
Dimensions: | 30.7 x 10.8 x 6.7 cm |
Keyboard type: | Mechanical |
Switches: | Cherry MX Red |
Connectivity: | Bluetooth/USB wired/wireless |
Battery life: | Up to 32 hours |
Device support: | Windows/Android/iOS |
- Customer review: "Good, compact design and performs very well across a spectrum of uses."

Membrane vs chiclet vs mechanical: what's the best?
These main types of keyboard crop up everywhere across tech, but what's the best technology among them?
Membrane: Membrane keyboards are standard keyboards that you've probably used in the office, at school or perhaps with your home PC. These keyboards use a silicone mat with switches built in, so when you actuate a key, they're all on the same mat. This affordable keyboard is durable and cheap to manufacture, so you'll find them to be some of the cheapest on the market.
Chiclet: Chiclet keyboards, unlike membrane, use a scissor-switch system for actuation, tiny switches that give chiclet keys a popping feel that is ultra-light and comfortable. Chiclet keyboards are difficult to repair, and can become damaged easily, but have generally better responsiveness and a quieter sound compared to membrane keyboards.
Mechanical: Mechanical keyboards are perhaps the best keyboards on the market right now, and there's no mystery as to why. Using individual switches, mechanical keyboards are highly accurate and durable, whilst also being very easy to repair. Customisable, long-lasting and usually equipped with RGB lighting, mechanical keyboards look the best and feel the best, but also cost the most.
