Although things are seemingly going back to normal, for many of us, working from home is our new reality, permanent or not. While over the past year we may have perfected optimising our work-from-home setup, many of us have yet to find our ideal set of headphones, speakers, or earbuds.

Sony has the answer. The company has just launched a new SRS-NB10 wireless neckband speaker. According to Sony, this device is specifically designed for those working from home, making taking Zoom and Teams calls a breeze. It has a full-range speaker that is tilted upwards so that you can hear everything clearly in your virtual meeting.

The SRS-NB10 also helps eliminate any background noise which allows your team or colleague to hear your voice clearly, due to its Precise Voice Pickup Technology. So whatever is happening in the background, you can rest assured that your team will hear you above it.

Additionally, at the back of the speakers are passive radiators; these increase the bass presence and make sure the audio is balanced so that you don't end up with disproportionately loud vocals.

Sony claims that you'll be able to clearly hear your colleagues, even if the volume is low, so you won't need to concern yourself with interrupting or annoying anyone you share a house with.

The speakers also boast a superb battery life of 20 hours, so this isn't just for people working from home - it's a handy device that serves most well. You can wear it on walks, and more.

Features summary:

• Has a full-range speaker

• Precise Voice Pickup Technology eliminates background noise, picks up your voice only.

• Sleek, stylish and very lightweight, can be worn all day.

• Boasts up to 20 hours of battery life and is IPX4 rated.

If you're looking for where you can purchase one, they aren't available just yet, but will be coming in September and will have an RRP of £130. Stay tuned for further updates and where to buy when the date comes.
