AirPods fans, listen up - a number of changes are heading your way for 2021, including location tracking using the 'Find My' network, plus a Conversation Boost feature and support for spatial audio while using Apple TV.
Revealed at Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) on 7 June, forgetful AirPods users will be delighted to know that you can now find your earbuds much more easily if you lose track of them, using a secure Bluetooth beacon and the Find My app.
You can view the proximity location and even send a notification to your AirPods, which will give off a 'chirp' sound - whether they're in the case or without. Furthermore, if you leave your AirPods somewhere, the new 'separation' alert will notify you.
Sick of missing notifications? AirPods will now read out notifications while you’re using them, so you can stay connected to the apps and people that matter to you.

As well as this, the Conversation Boost feature aims to help people with hearing issues, working out the direction you're looking in and boosting speech when you're on the move.
Spatial audio, which can also be found on the newly announced FaceTime update, brings support with Dolby Atmos to deliver a more immersive experience while watching Apple TV and listening via Apple Music.
