If you haven't heard of mochi, made popular in the UK by Little Moons, then you've been missing out big time. The Japanese ice cream treats are made of sweet rice flour, and their unique flavour and texture have made them quite the internet phenomenon.

When you think of mochi, you think of sweet, soft, chewy deliciousness that melts in your mouth and leaves you wanting about ten more (guilty). From flavours including creamy coconut, passionfruit and mango and Belgian chocolate, the Japanese-inspired ice creams treats are simply divine.

Apart from its seven standard flavours, Little Moons has recently launched a range of new limited-edition mochis, one of which is a little bit shocking.

The new flavours include Candy Floss, Eton Mess and - drumroll please - Fish and Chips. Nope, this is no April Fool's joke.

As described on its website, the Fish and Chips flavour is "a sweet and salty combination of flavours with a hint of tangy vinegar and mini chocolate chips throughout". We're unsure of how vinegar and ice cream come hand in hand, but we're curious enough to want to find out.

Head over to its website to try the new limited-edition Fish and Chips flavour and, if you're not quite feeling that adventurous just yet, shop the rest of the delicious Little Moons range below.
