Stuck for breakfast ideas? We know we are. Breakfast is a meal we don't pay nearly enough attention to, but given it's the first meal of the day, it's about time we all tried a little harder.

Baked oats are a delicious breakfast option that went viral on TikTok a few months back, with hundreds of creators sharing their own versions of the recipe. It wasn't long before the breakfast idea spread like wildfire, and we can totally see why. They're simple to make, taste like dessert and you can prepare them from the night before for less faff in the morning.

Biscoff flavoured baked oats are the latest edition of baked oats to go viral on TikTok, inspired by - you guessed it - Lotus Biscoff spread. If you're one of those people who could spread Biscoff on just about everything, then this breakfast is about as dreamy as it gets.

So, how do you make it? We've listed the recipe and ingredients down below.

Ingredients

40g of oats

1/2 banana

100ml milk (of your choice)

Half tsp of baking powder

Dash of vanilla

15g Lotus Biscoff spread or sauce

Biscoff biscuits

Method

Add your oats, banana, milk, baking powder and vanilla to a blender and blend until smooth.

Next, place your mixture into a bowl and add melted Biscoff spread (or non-melted Biscoff sauce) and crushed Biscoff biscuit on top. Microwave for a minute and enjoy!

If you're looking for a crunchier consistency and aren't pushed for time, place your mixture (garnished with Biscoff spread and biscuit) into an ovenproof dish, bake for 20 minutes and feel that satisfying crush. You won't regret it - we promise.
