Ryan is one of our Commercial Content Writers at Bauer Media where he writes predominantly for Yours and What’s The Best as a tech specialist. After completing his studies in English Literature and Film and Theatre at The University of Reading and conjunctively working for several years in the retail industry, Ryan decided to follow his passion for all things technological and join the Bauer team in 2022.
During his study, Ryan was co-president of the Table-read Society where he lead discussions of screenplays and offered constructive criticism towards up-and-coming writers. He was also a member of the University of Reading Film Society, starring in several horror short films over his study.
Ever since he was a child, Ryan has been sat in front of a computer, from creating games on Scratch as a child to later building a PC and learning how to program with Python in secondary school. Since then, Ryan has retained a burning passion for gaming and technology and is always at the forefront of the latest technology trends.
In his spare time, Ryan unsurprisingly indulges in all manners of escapism such as reading, writing, bingeing entire shows on Netflix in a single sitting, and contemplating existence over drinks with friends. Although Ryan adores the comforts of home, he is also a major fan of the outdoors, nature, camping, and wildlife conservation. He is also a proud father of a ‘grumble’ of pugs and will not hesitate to show you pictures.
